As I told in my last post, I am going to introduce you the Unionmaterial Dr. Pulley HiTClutch product. I was looking for a suitable clutch to replace the stock one but I realised that almost of all the clutches available in auxiliary industries are exclusively centrifugal force actuated.

I only found one that supposes a new clutch operation concept for automatic transmissions. This is the Dr. Pulley HiT Clutch. The main characteristic that does different of other clutches is that is NOT exclusively centrifugal force actuated. The other source of actuating is the maximum torque from engine.

I will try to explain you. Firstly the clutch actuates like an traditional one, the weights are separated deforming the springs by the centrifugal force and then (in maximum torque level of rpm) a new set of springs are deformed turning a plate containing four pins that pull the weights stronger against bell.

It is very simple mechanism and the manufacturer promises a very important gain of effective power to wheel, hillclimbing and performances.

On my own opinion, I think the manufacturer has developed a revolutionary product that accomplishes the needs of high-powered engines clutches.

I held contact with Paul Wu, he is an efficient and easy-going professional and he has answered me so fast when I ask for something.
