To Make Floating Disk Of Xciting

● Xciting SUS420 front floating disk specification:

diameter:260mm

thickness:4.5mm

floating buttons:10 pcs

○the interior disk:

must like the kymco original interior disk

○the exterior disk:

the position of 10 pcs floating must like below

to simulate the kymco original interior disk with other exterior disk

※a point for attention:

to use the dual 4 piston caliper with 260mm disk,the maximum friction range 36mm。

so must shift the floating buttons interior and reduce the diameter of interior disk

I think if use transnational parcel the transportation charges will higher than the components itself.
Maybe you can ask the local kymco parts company , or try another way to buy that.

Hello, my friend
I have saw some information about 34CV in your country.
It's a very special rule and i never hear before.

It seems used 33mm pipe limitation on Xciting 500R,
but how about the 34CV limiter on your Xciting 500 ?
Using 33mm pipe and CDI limiter ? Or one of these?

That's de new bag ot the not limited CDI with limited CDI inside. I don't know how to find rpm data.

Words in spanish that refers to limitation:

I guess that i have found the rule of CDI version

(the version 3 seems have 9100rpm limit ; and the version 4 seems have 8200rpm limit).

And I need your help to double confirm that, please kindly do me a favor.

In order to know the rpm limit, you must testing as below:

After the engine of xciting warm, you must to prop up the middle stand and turn the grip full down,

likes you test the air filter.

Then you will see the rpm limit on your tachometer, and you can loose the grip after you saw the rpm limit.

Please tell me the result after you test.

Here are some problems confused me, and i need your help !

Because the engine type of my xciting is carburetor ( ignition by CDI ) not throttle ( ignition by ECU ).

I am aware of the CDI have rpm limit.

As I have known:

Because the extra ferodo surface are longer than original surface,

maybe the ferodo surface are too thickness and can't use all of suface in a few time.

Maybe that can improve after use longer time.

Most people like to extra ferodo on the original clutch, it can improve violent shake when xciting starts.

About the Dr. Pulley company, they made many useful products of transmission.

You can find many video that people shared in youtube about their products.

The GP800 used J.COSTA Variator and Dr. Pulley Hit Clutch make my eye-opening !
